In 2022, Colleen Flanigan started The Flanigan Company, an entertainment and arts marketing consulting agency. Since then, she has worked with Boston Lyric Opera, Berkeley Rep, ACT Contemporary Theatre, Nashville Rep, Deeply Rooted Dance Theater, Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation, Tennessee Performing Arts Center, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Chicago Opera Theater, Opera Omaha, and Teatro ZinZanni. She has led the day-to-day marketing operations at the Goodman Theatre and led the marketing departments at Chicago Opera Theater and the Auditorium Theatre, where she worked as Chief Marketing Office for nine years.

Colleen currently sits on the Loop Arts Caucus Marketing Task Force and serves on the board of Deeply Rooted Dance Theater as Chair of their Development and Marketing Committee. Colleen founded The Flanigan Company to find achievable solutions for arts organizations to increase attendance, diversify audiences, improve retention, strengthen the organization and brand, and maximize revenue.
