Bami Iroko

Director of Marketing & Sales

Bami joins the TOC Arts Partners team as Director of Marketing and Sales, bringing over a decade of marketing experience spanning B2B, fintech, publishing, and mission-driven organizations. She has built marketing functions from the ground up, growing them from the earliest stages into fully-fledged teams, and has managed asynchronous global teams since 2018. Her work has centered on growth strategy, brand and content development, and leading marketing and creative teams through periods of rapid change, always with an eye toward how technology, including AI, can be used ethically and in service of making sure all voices are represented.

Bami is also a published author and an international public speaker, having spoken at events in Uganda and Kenya on AI and ethical marketing. Her work is grounded in a broader passion for social justice and storytelling — she's drawn to the stories behind brands, people, and communities, and to making sure those stories are told well and told fairly.

Outside of her professional work, Bami has a deep passion for travel and culture, having visited over 40 countries, and loves nothing more than learning about people and the places they call home. She's an enthusiastic cook and host, and finds real joy in creating community experiences through food.
